NLP Business Practitioner Certificate

Who should take NLP Practitioner training
Anyone can take part – even if you’ve never even heard of NLP before. We begin at the beginning and gradually build up a set of practical and well-designed insights and skills.
NLP Practitioner Training is for;
- Individuals who want to use NLP techniques to become better leaders and managers
- HR professionals and trainers who want to enhance their understanding of how people operate, allowing them to interact more effectively.
- Existing coaches and therapists who want to add to their existing skills so they can offer a broader service to their clients.
- People who are looking to become a coach or a therapist and want a practitioner certificate
- Individuals who are looking for a change of career or are seeking promotion and want to have a competitive advantage.
- Anyone who aspires to become self-employed and run their own business and needs the confidence and courage to make the change.
- People who wish to increase their personal worth and love to learn more about human nature so they have a more fulfilling life.
NLP is not a theoretical course - it is a practical, action packed hands-on learning experience where you learn by doing and discussing rather than sitting and listening.
Much of what you encounter on the NLP practitioner programme can be applied in your own life, making the course an excellent personal and professional development programme.
What you will learn
- How people are feeling. Using non-verbal communication cues
- What people are thinking. From give-away words and eye movements
- Active Listening. Barriers to your own natural ability to listen
- Influencing. Presenting your ideas in a way which best suits your listener
- Motivation. Recognising an individual’s values and what motivates and de-motivates
- Rapport. How to create rapport and how not to!
- Dealing with difficult people. Preparing yourself for challenging situations.
- The Anchor Phenomenon. How negative anchors occur and how to neutralise them
- Goals Setting. Making your goals move motivating, realistic and achievable
- The Challenge Barometer. Explore how you deal with stressful situations
- Self Belief. Using memories to build confidence
- Personal Insight. How you function as an individual.
How the Course is Run
- The NLP Practitioner programme runs for 96 hours of teaching over 12 days.
- The programme is made up of 6 modules. Each module is taught over a period of 2 consecutive days.
- The whole programme runs over a period of 5 months, giving time for reflection and practice between modules.
- We use small learning groups made up of between 10 and 16 people, ensuring that you will not be “lost in the crowd”
- A workbook for each module is provided as a reference guide and you will be encouraged to maintain a “reflective learning log” that records how your learning relates to your own life.
- In addition to the teaching sessions you will have access to additional coaching sessions to support and accelerate your learning
- Individuals that complete the course and pass the continuous assessment will be awarded the NLP Practitioner Certificate.
- After successful completion of the course you are eligible to become a member of an APE NLP Practice Group that meets regularly to support and help members to further develop their skills.
